Showpony was founded in 2006 by Emma Henderson. Emma started screen printing after leaving art school and was quickly hooked. Showpony’s new studio in Govan is now home to a dedicated print room where much of Showpony’s products are handmade and wherever possible using organic and Fair Trade materials.
Trompe l’oeil meaning to ‘trick the eye’ is a theme which runs through much of Emma’s designs, from hiding bugs within the folds of her cushions to using vintage images on modern shapes. Inspired by honesty, poking fun and small details she creates products that are functional and beautiful.
